- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Opened bank account for the sole reason of cashing another account owners checks and get transfers. Explained they would be larger sums. Said no problem so I opened the account. 1st transfer they put a hold on. 1st check they said they would have to hold for at least 9 days! Any other bank out there, wells fargo, BOA, you name it. Someone writes you a check from that bank you can walk in, Without an account, and cash it. Sure there might be a $5 fee but that is far better than waiting for 9 days. Apparently they do not know how to look up another NV State bank account to see if the funds are good for cashing their own check?By Bob Sateren, January 30, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I recently moved and had a few issues with account info. Alexis was Fantastic!! Friendly, professional, helpful and courteous!!! She asked me what she could do to help AND... if she wasn't sure about what the issue needed to get resolved, she asked !!!!! I cannot state how VERY MUCH I appreciate that she did that!!!! It seems in this day and age, so many people won't ask questions or act as if they have the ONLY answer... she was so very good at assisting me and resolving the issues. She even called me back later on to tell me what she had found, the issue should be resolved. She even gave me the number so if there was anything else to contact the branch or her. I am so very pleased with NSB and the places I've encountered helpful people! From Jamie in Wells, Nevada to Alexis here in Vegas, the people NSB hires, truly do understand customer service!! I have even referred several friends to switch banks!! If you can appreciate friendly and helpful service, this is your bank.
