- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I was applying for a job as an insurance agent, so I went to the job interview. Despite being five minutes late, the receptionist had to reschedule. One week later, I came back and filled out the application. According to the receptionist, there were no interviews held for the rest of the week, despite being told differently over the telephone. It was beyond impossible for me to maintain my composure while staying professional at the same time. I took three public transit buses just to get to their office, but I was being turned away for an interview. The receptionist apologized for the inconvenience and suggested that she can reschedule. I told her that I was no longer interested in applying for the position and politely asked for my resume back. I also mentioned that I was wasting my time because she was being inconsiderate. She tried apologizing to me again, but I stormed out of the office. I wouldn't recommend applying for a job as an insurance agent with Banker's Life. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I apply for a receptionist position with this company. I was called in for an interview and I went. When I got there it was 3 people waiting in the lobby, I thought to myself I hope they're not all here for the same job. We were all escorted to a conference room we're long and behold there was about 6 to 7 other people waiting for the same interview. (A group interview.) As I sat down at the table, I thought to myself all of these people cannot be here for a RECEPTIONIST POSITION. So I went back to the woman who escorted us to the conference room and I asked if this interview was for the RECEPTIONIST POSITION and her reply was NO, IT'S FOR A SALES AGENT. I said well that IS NOT WANT I APPLIED FOR I applied for the RECEPTIONIST POSITION. Needless to say I did not stay for an interview. LOL. Talk about FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!! I think it's just the way for the company to get people in to convince them to be a sales agent.By donald duck, December 16, 2016
